So I got a Black Magic Cinema Camera and its pretty cool.
I was originally looking at getting a 5DIII but with the prices ending up fairly similar I’m hoping the 2.5k will make it a bit more future proof.
Anyway here’s some footage I shot of Southend reggae band Tallowah, I shoot a fair amount of bands in these sort of pub/venue locations and couldn’t really find any footage of this sorta thing from the bmcc (probably because most people are shooting super pretty cinematic stuff, but if people like me can afford this camera its worth showing what it can do on some of these lower end jobs)
So here it is, first time out in the real world with the black magic cinema camera.
(Oh and the sound is on a H4n, the sound on the black magic is horrid but I’ve kinda come to expect that shooting with DSLR for so long so hey ho.)
